联合国电台中文组负责人李茂奇

　　李茂奇，1986年毕业于北京外语师范学院英语系，同年考入北京大学国际政治系主修国际文化交流专业;1989年毕业留校，任教于英语系;1991年调入中国中央电视台，出任中、英文双语节目《中国投资指南》主持人;1994年派往美国芝加哥，担任美洲东方卫星电视新闻主播;1999年回到中央电视台，担任《英语新闻》节目主播。2005年，进入联合国，担任联合国电台节目制作人，现任中文组负责人。

　　After graduating from Beijing Normal University of Foreign Languages with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, he continued his studies in International Affairs at Peking University. In 1989, he earned a Master’s degree in Law and became a teacher in the English Department at Peking University. Two years later, he joined the journalism staff at China Central Television (CCTV). He anchored “China Business Guide” for two years and then took the assignment as News Anchor for US-based Asian American Satellite TV, in Chicago, Illinois. He returned in 1999 and later became a news anchor for CCTV’s English language news. In 2005, he was recruited by the United Nations to work as a radio producer at UN Radio, in which he is serving as Chief of Chinese Unit.
